The Human Race Walkathon & Fun Run is a nationwide community fundraising event for nonprofits and schools. The Human Race helps address the financial needs of local non-profit agencies, schools, faith based organizations, and civic groups. The Race provides a unique opportunity for all sectors to join together for a common purpose – sustaining vital community services and programs.
Participants will queue up at 2300 Delaware Ave. across from the back entrance to Natural Bridges State Park and walk, run or roll approximately 8K along the beautiful West Cliff Drive to the Lighthouse and back. The Race starts at 8 a.m. Shuttles will be available for those who get tired. People are invited to come in costumes and enjoy the music along the way and partake in the breakfast, snacks and BBQ lunch that will be provided.
Each year over 150 non-profits, schools, and churches step out collectively to ask for community support. The Human Race makes a difference for area non-profits, schools, community groups, and charities.
