Projects in Timor-Leste
This month at Sustainable Change International, guest speakers Pam Sexton and Jean Olson will talk about their projects in Asia’s newest nation, Timor-Leste (formerly East Timor). Pam and her family return to Timor-Leste August 1st to continue leading community-based social justice and education projects. Jean Olson, a One World Children's Fund Project Champion for Familia HOPE Orphanage, will talk about her involvement with the orphanage on the small island nation. Santa Cruz residents are invited to join the gathering and learn more from these speakers about their experiences and projects in Timor-Leste. Please bring a potluck dish to share. There is no fee to attend the event and RSVP’s are not required.
