This one-mile swim around the Santa Cruz Wharf attracts ocean swimmers from all over Northern California. The Roughwater Swim is co-sponsored by the Santa Cruz City Surf Lifesaving Association and sanctioned by United States Swimming and Pacific Masters Swimming.
