This years' Vintners' Festival will be held on two consecutive weekends. The first weekend, June 2nd & 3rd, the festival will be hosted at wineries and restaurants in Santa Clara/San Mateo Counties. The second weekend, June 9th & 10th, the festival will be hosted at wineries and restaurants in Santa Cruz County. Wineries participating in the Vinters' Festival will be pouring from 11:00am to 5:00pm with restaurants closing at 4:00pm.
The Vintners' Festival is an opportunity for restaurants and wineries to pair together for the ultimate experience. Many wineries will be pouring their wines at local restaurants for the festival as well as at their own winery locations.
The Vintners' Festival offers participants a self-guided tour in which they may take part in barrel tasting, meet winemakers' and enjoy music, art and good food. Visitors are also invited to wander through many of the winery gardens, and welcome to picnic in the picturesque surroundings. Tickets and the official brochure listing participating wineries along with a map to help guide you to the locations will be available by calling the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association at (831)685-VINE (8463). You may also purchase your commemorative wine glass, which serves as your ticket to taste during the two weekend event!
