The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary is hosting an informational meeting for interested people to become docents at the Sanctuary Exploration Center, located at 35 Pacific Street in Santa Cruz. Volunteer Applications will be distributed as the first step in the selection process. Selected applicants will be provided with 35 hours of training during June and July. The Sanctuary Exploration Center is scheduled to open in late July, with docents providing information and education to the visitors.
