Whether we are self-employed or employed by a multi-national corporation, our ability to understand what “makes others tick” likely defines the limits of our success. From sales and management to work teams and vendor relationships, our capacity to work productively with others is the single most important key to achieving objectives. Few if any of us can successfully rely on intuition alone. The most accomplished business people use a model to assess the styles, motivations, and needs of the people they work with and the guidance of that model to help them make the most of those relationships.
Join Work In Progress Coaching™ founder Camille Smith for her presentation of an internationally recognized model of personal styles and motivations. This framework, built upon decades of research and development, will help you understand people’s preferences in two key areas: how they like to approach getting work done and what motivates them to be engaged in work in the first place. Then we’ll use our understanding of these preferences, to explore how you can improve existing work relationships and to initiate and develop productive business connections in the future. Most importantly, you’ll gain insights into what you yourself prefer and need from your work environment and how you can help others work with you more productively.
This one-hour overview distills the concepts of Camille’s eight hour program into elements that you can apply immediately to improve your work relationships, your own productivity, and the satisfaction of people in your ‘value chain’.
Camille Smith has worked start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.
