The 2012 staging of Paris-Roubaix will be as keenly contested as ever, with the peloton eager to test themselves in a gruelling race that is illustratively nicknamed ‘The Hell of the North’. With a history dating back to 1896 it is one of the oldest and most prestigious of the spring classics and is famed for its cobbles and the numerous incidents that those sectors often produce.
?Join us at the Aptos Britannia Arms to watch the race! Nestled in the heart of Aptos Village, where the redwoods meet the sea, the Britannia Arms is about as close to an original old English village pub that you are likely to find on this side of the pond (the Atlantic that is!).
The Britannia Arms is more than just a British pub with a large selection of imported draught and bottled beers and a fully stocked bar. It is also a restaurant and sports bar.
There will be a raffle of a signed HTC Highroad team jersey and a silent auction for a cruiser bike. (details and photo coming) Come spend the afternoon / evening at the Brit and get primed for the Amgen Tour of California!
