Big Kahuna Triathlon 

Firstwave Events hosts the Big Kahuna Triathlon and Ocean Challenge events over a two day period of time.

The Big Kahuna Triathlon is a long course triathlon consisting of a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike and a 13.1-mile run. The race starts Sep. 9 at 7 AM on the Santa Cruz Main Beach east of the wharf. The top three male and female finishers will receive awards.
