The Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau and Agri-culture will hold their National Agriculture Day Spring Luncheon on March 21, 2012. Steve Tjosvol, Environmental Horticulture Farm Advisor of the University of California Cooperative Extension will be the guest speaker talking on the subject "Of Crops and Kids."
The Al Smith Friend of Agriculture Award, the 2012 Jimmie Cox Memorial Scholarship, and the Poster and Poetry Contest Winners will be presented at the celebration.
The lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will be at the Agriculture History Project Codiga Center at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, 2601 E. Lake Ave.
