CASA is holding orientation sessions for volunteers. They train volunteers to act as Advocates for children who have been placed in foster care.  Advocates act as a friend and mentor, and help these children in navigating the world of social services, courts, healthcare and school. They currently have over 30 children on their waiting list, who really need the help of CASA Advocates.  Please consider helping CASA to help the children by coming to the 1 hour orientation to find out more about what being an Advocate entails. Advocate training will begin February 21st but trainees must attend an orientation first.
