Ecology Action’s 30th Annual Bike Week will be held on May 5-12! Friday, 5/5/2017 kicks off the 30th Annual Bike Week. For 30 years, Ecology Action has been organizing the Bike To Work program in Santa Cruz County. Every year, Bike to Work/School Day gets lots of media recognition (social and otherwise), but did you know that it is just one day out of an entire week celebrating bicycles and eco-friendly transportation? The program happens every May and October and now represents the largest sustainable transportation event in the region and serves a combined total of over 13,000 residents every year. Join cycling novices and enthusiasts throughout the week for fun rides and activities, starting off with the First Friday at the MAH from 5-9pm! Learn, Share, Create, Inspire (1pm – 3pm) MONDAY, MAY 8 Activate the River Ride with Patagonia (5:30pm) Sip and Savor at Solaire, Hotel Paradox (4pm – close) TUESDAY, MAY 9 Cycle & Dine WEDNESDAY, MAY 10 Beer Thirty Bottle Shop & Pour House ~ New Belgium Brewing and Bikes Night! (5pm-10pm) THURSDAY, MAY 11 Bike To Work/School Day (6:30am-9:30am) FRIDAY, MAY 12 Bike Party Group Ride (6-9pm)
